Right From The Start

frequently consulted early in the design stage

inappropriate equipment is specified the fountain

development in which it stands has reached the

Direct Limited we only specify and supply fountain
equipment from the OASE range, an arrangement
of mutual co-operation that spans nearly 25
years. Because of the special nature of our
relationship with OASE and the packaged nature
of the fountain displays we supply, there is
no project in the world that could not benefit

The company operates systems
compliant with ISO9002 and is currently putting
in place full systems in order to be totally
compliant by the end of 2004.
The
company is totally computerised running the
latest computer aided design programs in order
to provide you, the client, with the fastest
and most accurate service possible.
We
have two AutoCAD 2004 stations both running
Windows XP, MS Office XP. All PC’s are
Pentium IIII based with a minimum of 512MB RAM.
Plotting is carried out in house using a HP
design jet 430 ink jet plotter.
Drawings
can be issued either on paper, diskette or via
the internet/Email.
Site Works & Installation
Fountains
Direct Limited has gained invaluable experience
in the UK contracting market over many years
and operates a joint venture company Waterscapes
Limited. Waterscapes undertake all their site
works under standard sub-contract conditions
back to back with the main contract. With the
added experience of our partners, one of the
most highly respected contractors in the UK
the three companies offer a powerful and successful
blend of in house skills. Each company is able
to call on the resources of each other should
the need arrive. The team has successfully combined
on a number of hugely successful projects including
The Knightsbridge - London, Greater Williamson
Square – Liverpool, Daisy Hill House –
Jersey & most recently at the Jubilee Gardens
– Canary Wharf (BALI Principle Award Winner
2003). The company carries all recognised insurances
including £1 million of Professional Indemnity
Cover.
Past Contracts
The
Managing Director, Nick Roberts, who has been
involved in the water display industry for nearly
25 years and Gordon Murray who has a further
15 years of experience, handle all UK &
export projects. Nick and Gordon have been responsible
for more than 300 major fountain projects in
20 different countries. Two particular projects
of note are the Fountains at Somerset House
and the Water Cascade at Alnwick Castle. Nick
worked closely with Dickson Jones the Architects
for the Somerset House Trust to produce one
of the most outstanding fountains installed
in London for many years. Gordon was directly
responsible to the Duchess of Northumberland
for deign of the highly acclaimed Water Cascade
at Alnwick Castle.
