Gauging Square, London Dock

The development of the old News International site in Wapping, now known as London Dock, includes one of the largest fountains constructed in London in the last ten years. This feature adds to an ever growing and impressive collection of water features commissioned by the Berkeley Group across London and the South East.

The 130 jet fountain was conceived by Landscape Architects Applied Landscape Design and was constructed by Fountains Direct in co-operation with Elite Landscapes.

The feature includes 130 water jets, some up to 6m high, with each jet individually controlled and illuminated using DMX controlled RGBW underwater lights from the OASE range of ProfiLux fittings. The public may interact with the fountains with the comfort of knowing that the water is treated and monitored to PWTAG standards.

Fountains Direct provides a remote controlled daily monitoring service, via a high speed internet connection and a weekly maintenance service visit to ensure the feature is always at it’s best
