NICK ROBERTS
Managing Director
Nick has worked in the water feature industry since he was 15 and is one of the most experienced water feature engineers currently working in the UK. Having previously worked in his family business, he started Fountains Direct with his wife Sara in 1995.
SARA ROBERTS
Financial Director
Sara started Fountains Direct with Nick in the family home in 1995. She works in the Company every day and runs a very tight ship. Her two boxer dogs, Alfie & Boycie, join her daily while keeping guard at the office window.
GORDON MURRAY
Sales & Design Manager
Gordon has been with the company since 2002 and before that was a client of Fountains Direct, working with Scottish pump specialist Ritchie Mackenzie & Co. Gordon works from the company’s Scottish office in Alloa, Clackmannanshire.
THOMAS ROBERTS
Contracts Director
Thomas first joined Fountains Direct in 2012 as a maintenance engineer whilst at University. After a brief hiatus, he re-joined the company in 2015 to develop and run the Customer Services division of the company. Thomas is the third generation of the Roberts family to enter the water feature industry following in the footsteps of both his Grandfather and his Parents.
STEVE WICKS
Technical Manager
Steve has been an integral part of the Fountains Direct team for 10 years and provides the high level of technical input required for the control systems now used every day in modern water feature installations.
PAUL EVERDELL
UK Project Manager (SMSTS)
Paul joined Fountains Direct in 2008 following a long spell with our major supplier OASE. He has now gained considerable experience in the designing and selling of water features and has worked on complex projects from the South Coast to Aberdeen. Paul lives near Winchester with his wife and two children.
ALLEN STONER
Customer Service & Maintenance Manager
Allen joined the company in 2019 to take over the day to day operations of the ever growing Customer Service team. He has huge experience in the swimming pool world both in the UK and the USA and brings with him a high level of customer service. He lives in the beautiful Sussex countryside with his wife and his two dogs often referred to as his ‘co-workers’.
CHRIS BALL
Project Manager
Chris has joined the company from the pool industry and brings with him a wealth of technical knowledge. He previously worked with Allen at Guncast Pools and so we feel sure he will quickly adapt to the world of water features.

Administration Manager
Rachel joined the company in January 2017 and is helping with our ISO accreditation and all matters relating to Health & Safety.
CHRIS WITT
Purchase & Logistics Manager
Chris has been with the company for 6 months and is now well used to the hustle and bustle of the industry. He has very quickly picked up the skills necessary to keep the site engineers supplied with the correct materials.
IAIN RUTTER
Logistics
Iain joined us in April 2017 as our Delivery Driver. At each stage of the project , he ensures materials reach our sites on time and in good order. Working closely with Chris Witt, Iain is our man on the road.

TOM BALLANTYNE
Design Engineer & CAD Manager
Tom joined Fountains Direct in 2008 and is an extremely experienced water feature designer. Tom will be involved in the implementation of Revit / BIM which the company expects to roll out during 2018.
DOMINIC McBRIDE
Design Engineer & Animator
Dom works alongside Gordon in our Scottish office and provides all of the Companies CGI and animation output. Dom will work together with Tom Ballantyne to ensure the successful launch of Revit / BIM.
GONCALO FERREIRA
CAD Engineer
Goncalo joined the company straight from University having achieved his degree in design at Kingston University. He has an artistic flair which shows in his drawings and presentations.

BARTLOMIEJ BOZEK
Senior Site Engineer (SSSTS)
Bartlomiej has worked in the industry most of his working life and is a fully C&G qualified engineer. He has worked on public swimming pools, aquariums and water features throughout Europe but has now settled in the UK.
RHYS WILLIAMS
Senior Electrical Engineer (SSSTS)
Thanks to Rhys, the company is now fully registered with NAPIT. He provides us with the electrical knowledge to ensure that our installations are installed to a very high standard and comply with all current regulations.
DANE PALMER
Site Engineer / Supervisor (SSSTS)
Dane joined the company in March 2020 having worked for Numan Aqua for many years. He is supporting the rest of the installation team together with the maintenance guys around the country.
LUKE TOBIN
Site Engineer / Supervisor (SSSTS)
Luke has plant room operator and full chemical handling training. He also has confined space and working at height training. He started as a Mechanical Engineer and understands the industry we work in well. He approaches every task with enthusiasm and with an attention to detail.

Dan joins us from the pool industry and we welcome his experience. His skills compliment the ever growing Fountains Direct site team.

Sam is the latest member of staff to join the install team. He is a keen photographer so we look forward to seeing some great images.

The most recent recruit to the Fountains Direct installation team but Jordon has already gained a wealth of knowledge gained from working with Steve Miller within Maintenance.

Steve has a wealth of experience in the water feature and swimming pool industries having been involved in them for most of his working life. Steve really enjoys bringing on the younger members of the team and passing on the knowledge he has gained.
